Research On The Consumer Protection System

With the development of social economy, consumer demand is growing, makes therelationship between managers and consumers increasingly tense. The protection of consumerrights and interests, received widespread attention in the community. The protection in a weakposition in the transaction between consumers, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests ofconsumers, so as to effectively promote the healthy development of the market economy, hasbecome one of the most important problems in the development of market economy.This paper is divided into four parts: the first part mainly introduces the definition ofconsumer rights and interests of consumers, and the concept of consumer protection law. Thesecond part mainly reviews the history of protecting the rights and interests of consumers andconsumer protection law of China’s emergence and development. The third part brieflyanalyzes some existing problems in the protection of consumer rights in China, and throughsome specific cases illustrate. The last part is based on the relevant foreign experience on theproposed scheme, to improve our national consumer protection law.
