Singapore has been a model of country that is the most stable in Politics, the most developed in economy, the most harmonious in social order since1965in Southeast Asia. It is necessary to establish authoritarian regime in Singapore in1960s, meanwhile, it is indispensable to the development of the Singapore. when the other Authoritarian countries occurred transformation in1980s, and however, Singapore achieved double harvest in Politics and economy. Political stability is the fundamental premise of national construction. We can summary the experience that Singapore maintains political stability According to the type of political stability. There are two kinds of measures:First, strict control measures include suppression of political participation and the creation of authoritarian regime; Second, Flexible rule include progressive democratic reform and opinion-oriented political balance which will finally realize social stability. No matter from the theory perspective or the fact perspective, the situation of Political stability is good。But, there are a few adverse factors which affecting the future Singapore by analyzing the experience of the other countries in political development. For example, in the term of governing idea, legitimacy mainly refers to Performance legitimacy; In the term of The relationship between the state and society, the state is very strong;In the term of The political system running, it lacks constraints and balance, and so on. The state keeps stable with the development of the social and that goes on developing depends on steady, which is consensus. If it still want to keep stable, Singapore can take measures from several aspects. For instance, in the democratic construction, it should increase the substantial democratic construction and weaken the authoritarian; In the relationship between government and citizens, government should foster mature the civil society. Meantime it should increase Institutional levels of the political system and absorb critically western democracy thought.
