On The Ideological And Political Education In Military Training For College Students

Military training is the main form of military service for college students. It contains rich resources for ideological and political education. It also serves as an important platform for ideological and political education in colleges and universities. The Party has demanded that "ideological and political education should be combined with military training for college students" so as to better accomplish the goal of completing the military training as well as the ideological and political education in military training for college students. Currently there exists some problems concerning the educators, goals, content and methods of the ideological and political education of college students. These problems have negatively influenced the outcome of the ideological and political education in military training for college students. This is the reason that ideological and political educators need to address these problems effectively and timely. This thesis aims at concluding the situation of current military training and coming up with solutions to problems mentioned above through investigation and first-hand experience of the author in this field.This thesis consists of4chapters. The1st chapter gives a brief introduction of the background, significance, existing domestic and foreign studies on related topics, and research methods of the thesis. The2nd chapter introduces the meaning and development of military training and its important strategic role, and further analyzes the necessity of bringing ideological and political education in military training. On this base, the2nd chapter also defines the meaning of ideological and political education in military training, and categorizes educators, objects and other elements in military training. The3rd chapter illustrated the achievements and existing problems of ideological and political education in military training. Based on investigation, the3rd chapter tries to analyze the cause of the problems. According to the investigation, influential factors include team-building, subjectivity of the objects, content, methods and environment of the ideological and political education in military training for college students.At last, the4th chapter puts forward the fundamental disciplines of optimizing ideological and political education in military training for college students. The thesis proposes that we should stick to the ideological and political education goals in the military training, enrich education content, and improve the team-building of educators including political instructors, military theories teachers and military drill instructors. We should also integrate the education goals, the education content and the educated objects, choose the suitable education methods scientifically, and create a decent military training atmosphere so as to optimize the ideological and political education in military training for college students. In this way, we will be able to yield better results from the ideological and political education in military training for college students.
