Nazi Germany’s youth education policy is an important part of its social policy, the target、means and methods of youth education are deeply branded with the Nazism.This paper explores the background of Nazi German youth education policy, examines its specific contents and implementations of the traditional school youth education, elite education, outside school education and other policies, thereby measuring and rethinking the results of their policies.The first chapter analyzes the background of the German Nazi youth education policy. The Weimar government continued to try to implement some of the progressive education policies, but extreme nationalism and totalitarian characteristics of education in the late19th century did not completely disappear during the Weimar Republic. In Weimar, the hostility of youth against the Treaty of Versailles, the impact of the economic crisis and the increasingly despair of Republic promote they to Nazi Party. Hitler’s basic perspective of youth education provides the background and guidelines for the Nazi youth education policies.The second chapter analyzes the National Socialist Teachers League’s role in education, namely re-education of teachers and ensure that they loyalty to the Nazi regime; then analyzes the reform of Germany higher education system by the Nazi regime, namely the implementation of the principles of its centralized management leaders, expulsion those students who are not Germany descent and mentally or physically disabled, to reduce the impact the church, to decrease university enrollment, and so do not pay attention to intellectual. These policies seriously impacted the original good German higher education system,as a result,, the teaching level plummeted.The third chapter analyzes the elite education in Nazi Germany. Nazi regime established three main types of elite educational institutions to train future leaders of German society:National Political Educational Institutions、Adolf Hitler Schools、Order Castles. They emphasized the leadership principle and competition, which advocated that life is a constantly struggle process, the fittest can survive; Strong emphasis on the body; Hostile "enemies of the Empire", especially the Jews, communists and socialists; Emphasis on racial purity, honor and necessity of living space militarism and war.The fourth chapter analyzes outside school education in Nazi Germany, namely Hitler Youth-oriented youth organizations. What is Origin and development of the Hitler Youth? How does it carry out the management and education of young people? What is changed during the war?Youth education is a major issue that human society always faces, especially after entering the modern industrial society, that also requires all countries to deep thinking. Youth Education in Nazi Germany as a totalitarian state typical of youth education, is worth human in-depth reflection.
