Study On The Right Protection Of Consumer’s Food Safety

Food is the foundation of human survival and development. Food security not only relates to the consumer’s health and property safety, but also relates to the stability of the country and the development of the society. China is a major grain producer as well as a major grain consumer. However, the food safety situation in China is not optimistic. Especially food safety incidents frequently occur, which causes consumer’s great panic. So food safety problem has become the focus of attention. Food safety right has the equal importance of the right to life, and the right to health. Based on the actual situation of the protection of the consumer’s food safety in China, this thesis elucidates the basic theory of the right of the consumer’s food safety, analyzes the problems, and investigates the mature experience of some major developed countries. Finally the author puts forward some suggestions of perfecting China’s consumer’s food safety protection.This thesis can be divided into four sections. The first section is the preface which including the significance of the topic, research abroad and research at home, research methods and innovation. The second section is the logical starting point of this research, it mainly elucidates the basic theory from related issues of food safety and the protection of consumer’s rights and interests. The third section mainly talks about the actual situation of the protection of the consumer’s food safety in China and the existing problems. By investigating the mature experience of some major developed countries like America Japan and Germany in the fourth section, the author puts forward some suggestions of perfecting China’s consumer’s food safety protection in the last section.
