In the modern western bourgeois political and ideological history, Grau Huges, Hobbes, Locke and Rousseau, is a typical representative of the social contract theory. Social contract theory is mainly about the modern political thinkers in the basic theory of criticizing and inheriting the ancient, proposed a country is a series of theoretical ideas how to produce and these thinkers in the ideal political system. Social contract theory in the period of the enlightenment in Europe, has a very important development, establish and improve the modern capitalist country’s political system plays a great influence. Development and dissemination and development of social contract theory in this period also directly promote the enlightenment to the deep, wide field. Such as the French Revolution is a affected by social contract theory of political movement.In the Enlightenment period, Hobbes, Locke and Rousseau’s social contract theory is the most representative, the social contract theory by Hobbes foundation, Locke was under the influence of Hobbes’s thoughts are further expounded, and to the French scholar Rousseau this theory development to the top. The three enlightenment scholars of social contract theory are similar in many aspects, such as the state of nature exists or not, the ideal basis function and so on, but due to the specific environment of three different, more comprehensive said is not the thought of the subjective and objective conditions, resulted in three of them on the social contract theory advocates have more differences. This article mainly from the analysis and comparison of the three social contract theory to discuss the difference, in order to better understand the development of social contract theory during the period of the enlightenment context, and on this basis, can make us better understand the history of the impact of the social contract theory and far-reaching significance.
