Duality Theory Of The Capital And Socialist Economic Construction With Chinese Characteristics

In a modern society under the capital logic, what effects will have when we use the capital to the China’s socialist economic construction, and the socialist China should how to avoid the negative effects of the capital are not only important theoretical problems, but also great realistic problems. Based on the comprehensive interpretation of Marx’s capital duality theory, this paper aims to analyze the pros and cons of the capital’s reintroduction, and make a preliminary answer to limit the negative effects of the capital, so as to avoid the disadvantages and take advantage of its benefits, thereby so that the capital can more better for the socialist economic construction with Chinese characteristics.In this paper, compared with Western economics, I focus on three aspects of Marx’s understanding of the scope of the capital:the entity, the source and accumulation, the nature. Based on the scientific analysis of the capital’s connotation, I mainly focuses on the following:First, Marx’s capital duality theory:Marx’s criticism of the capital focused on two aspects:confrontation between the capital and the labor, and the capital restrictions on the production, but he also admit the positive effects the capital generated, two "universal possession system", mainly by means of the analysis of absolute and relative surplus value’s production. Second, the history of the socialism explore how to use the capital:Due to the inadequate understanding of the newborn socialist and the one-sided understanding of Marx’s capital duality theory, leading to the eradication of the capital whether in the socialist Soviet Union or China, there is a negative attitude no matter in the Soviet Union’s "war communism" period or in the China’s planned economy period. In the Soviet Union, although Lenin’s New Economic Policy use the state capitalism re-admitting the role of the capital in the socialist construction, Stalin’s planned economy put the capital into a death row in the Soviet. China uses the opportunity of reform and opening up gradual re-introduction the market and the capital. Third, the capital and the socialist economic construction with Chinese characteristics: The capital in the socialist market economy’s use will have a dual role, it will not only bring great development and prosperity of the productive forces, but also will lead the contradiction between people and people, between people and the society, between man and nature, so in the process of using the capital to socialist economic construction, we should strengthen the government’s macro-control, grasp the direction of the socialist market economy, limit the negative effects of capital, so that the capital will run healthy in the socialist China.
