With the development of economic integration, the trade contacts betweencountries are more frequent. But as the same time, the trade friction and marketcompetition are becoming more fierce. In this context, mastering INCOTERMS andhaving a good knowledge of the revision of INCOTERMS are of great significance forclarifying the responsibilities, risks, costs of sellers and buyers and fixing a price forgoods.Our country is a large trading nation. With the deepening of reforms, the foreigntrade of our country is increasing rapidly and continuously. As the same time, foreigntrade disputes are increasing. There are many factors leading to trade disputes. Amongthem, the parties engaged in transactions are lack of basic knowledge of INCOTERMSis an extremely important factor.Combining international trade practices, this paper will analyze the changes inINCOTERMS by comparative method and case study method, suggesting that thesechanges are reasonable. At the last, the paper will give some applicablerecommendations on the impact of INCOTERMS on China.
