The family planning policy was promoted in1980s, since then our country has made tremendous success in the total population control, and realized the historic change of population reproduction ahead. However, with the number of single-child family increased greatly, one-child family also faced a growing risk, one of the most direct influence was that the only children was disabled or dead, which risk the family structure defect, and the influence of parents was not only in economic and psychological aspects, but also in the long run it will be about the care and pension of these parents. They responds the Only-child policy which is a national basic policy, who should not assume alone on the risks of policy, the state, government and society should pay more attention to this group, Through strengthening the formal and informal support, constructing the social support network of only children parents whose child was disabled or dead.This article is divided into six chapters based on the project of Prof.Wu-"Analyze on the demand of only-child parents whose child was dead or disabled at Jing-an district". The first chapter introduces the research background, the significance of research, research methods and technology roadmap. Related theoretical studies of the domestic and foreign in the second chapter. In the third Chapter, the scale of disability or dead only-child parents were estimated, then theoretically analyze the influence of only-child’s disability and death brought to their parents, then review assistance policy about the one-child disability and death family, and point out current problems in policy. Based on the theory and policy above, theoretical social support networks were constructed. As the core of the text, the fourth chapter studies the status quo of only-child parents whose child was dead or disabled on social support. The fifth chapter, explored the main influence factors about social support network of disability or death only-child of parents. Chapter VI mainly summaries the thesis research, and points out the existing inadequacies and gives the outlook.The main findings:For only-child parents whose child was dead or disabled, their official support mainly comes from the government, but the government policy were not specific, et les contents need to be perfect; For parents of disabled only-child, the most pressing social support was the economic support and the risk about "disabled-aged"; For different ages of death only children parents, what they need most is spiritual comfort. The economic impact of only-child death is larger, main because of spending on death and medical expenses; Only children dead in the family planning stage of development (2-18s), whose parents’ health status was the worst; Besides, death of only-child affect the marital status of parents which directly related to the parents of the intensity of social support networks. Therefore, the government should perfect the legislation of family planning interests leading mechanism, and support the construction of mental health and propaganda, residential community should establish dynamic contact with disable and death one-child family, set up the special management organization. On informal support, encourage volunteer groups involved in the disability and death only children parents, realize the "one to one" long-term service.
