The Study Of Social Support To Unban One-child Parents' Pension

We have carry out the policy of only one child since 1970`,it effectively control the excessive growth of the population, promote the people's living standards, it gets china rid "population crisis" and changes the pattern of the population reproduction in China and promote the development of national economy and society.However, as the average life of our population has been increasing, aging population trend has been increasing, as well as social competition pressure increased, traditional pension model has been changed, it is not related the eldly life of the one child-parents,but it is also concerned about the social stable and social development in china.This paper is an empirical study of the urban one-child parents'pension from the perspective of social support theory.It contains four chapters:The first chapter :"perface" ,it introduces the research background and significance of the study ,reviews relevant literature ,and then summarizes the research framework and the method of study;chapter II "the analysis of the formal social support to one-child parents'pension ,it analyze the support to unban one-child parents'pension, it contains country, units, communities and institutions ; chapter III ,"informal social support to the one-child parents'pension", it introduces the support from family, friends and relatives, and the spontaneous groups of the old, then analyze the problem and the shortcomings of the support that they provide. Chapter IV, "Summary and discussion", introduced a few findings , as well as some of the issues to be resolved.This paper firstly use the theory of social support ,then deeply analyze the urban one-child parents `pension from two aspects, they are the formal social support and the informal social support .Specifically, this paper define the support that the state, units, communities, institutions provide as the formal social support, define the support that the family, friends and relatives, spontaneous groups of old-age provide as the informal social support.After research, I found that the job influences the level and view of the urban one-child parents'pension. The relative not only support material help but also emotional help to the unban one-child parents.The children'support to their parents is rare,it includes financial support ,attendance support and emotional support. On this basis, in order to improve China's urban one-child parents pension condition, the author state some relevant measures and suggestions from three aspects: they are government, the one-child parents, and the only one child.It is a new attempt to do urban one child- parents' pension research by social support theory, through the analysis of the social support net, we can understand the support from the different subjects to one child-parents'pension. As a analysis means, the social support theory can make people underline the different supporting subjects to one child-parents'pension,and it is also helpful for people to understand the group in this field in theory.
