In order to improve the effectiveness and pertinence of university students’ ideological andpolitical education furtherly, promote education and teaching effect, deepen the study oneducation and teaching modes of ideological and political education in university, the paperinvestigate and study the teaching modes of ideological and political education in our universityat present on the basis of existing papers with the methods of literature analysis, questionnairesurvey and informal interviews. First, the paper probed into theory basis of problem-orientedteaching modes of ideological and political education in our university; secondly, the paper putforward basic principles and approaches of problem-oriented teaching modes of ideological andpolitical education in university; thirdly, the paper present some exploration and cogitationabout the use of problem-oriented teaching modes of ideological and political education.Our investigation indicates that, teaching modes is the key factors that affect the teachingeffectiveness of university students’ ideological and political education. So, to some extend,problem-oriented teaching modes of ideological and political education in university is animportant breakthrough point to break through and improve teaching effectiveness of universitystudents’ ideological and political education, and is an important breakthrough point to promoteeffectiveness and pertinence of university students’ ideological and political education too.Our study suggests that, problem-oriented teaching modes of ideological and politicaleducation in university thoroughly reflected the spirits of ’close to reality’,’close to life’,’closeto students’. It is the concrete embodiment of humanism, constructivism, system science in thestudy of teaching theory. It contribute to develop the students’ study interest, improve thestudents’ study condition, exert educational function of ideological and political course, andimprove effectiveness of ideological and political education.
