The Studying On The Implement Of "Sailing Into The Campus" In Qingdao

Qingdao is the birthplace of Chinese sailing and the city has deep historical origin with this sport. As the successful holding of Olympic Sailing Competition, Paralympic Sailing Competition and some other intertional regattas, the city of Qingdao is doing the great efforts on creating the city image of "Sailing City" and putting forward the slogan of "Sailing into Campus", which will promote the developing of sailing in youth.With literature, expert interviews, surveys, data statistics and logic analysis, the article makes a research on both the current situation of the sailing and existing problems in the universities of Qingdao. It puts forward the detailed procedures to develop the sailing by sailing club and sailing team in universities of Qingdao, which provides useful ideas, theoretical basis and practical experience on the promotion of sailing in the universities and plays a positive role in promoting the develpment of sailing in the universiities of Qingdao.Results:(1) With the further development of creating the "Sailing City" and pushing the activity of "Sailing into Campus", the city of Qingdao is doing the great efforts in popularizing and promoting the sailing in the universities of Qingdao, which is an irresistable trend actually. Now there are five universities which have already started the procedure of sailing, while for others, they are still in the stage of theoretical popularization. It’s not enough obviously.(2) The sailing is an expensive sport and it has difficulties in funds, fields and teachers. Although the Qingdao government and social groups give a great supports and helps on the promoting of sailing in the campus of universities, it still difficult to settle all the problems in a short time.(3) There are serious ways to develop university physical education and under present situation, it will be impossible to develop sailing by complusory courses and selective coursed in universities. But developing it by sailing club and sailing team will be workable, because the sailing has its sepcial characteristics and advantage of history and experiences.(4)There are two aspects of management of university sailing club. One is for common club members and the other is for the main club members. The sailing team is the final result of the development of the sailing club, which they will develop together and promote by each other.By researching the present situation of sailing club in the universities and referencing the practial experiences on the sport team, the writer puts forward the future developing trends of universities sailing club as the follows:(1) The building of the sailing club is the only possible way to develop the sailing in the universities, and the sailing competitions will push this way.(2) The management of university sailing club will become more standard and orderly. One one hand, it will stimulate the enthusiasm of the students to take part in sailing, managing by themselves and promoting the popularization of the sailing knowledges and skills. On the other hand, it will strengthen the management of the sailing team which will take part in many different kinds of sailing competitions.(3) With the further development of sailing, the university sailing club will become more open and it will unite the social communities, groups and other sailing clubs, which will bring about the incorporation of sailing and life, university and social, education and practice. All of these will promote the development of sailing in the universities of Qingdao.
