The Theoretical Analysis And Experimental Research Of Outward Bound Into Nursing Physical Education

Outward Bound as one of the new Quality education training activities has a60years of development in foreign countries. It was introduced into China in the nineties, After more than ten years of development, Outward Bound has been successfully, widely introduced into the training of employees, authority activities, MBA training and primary school Extra-curricular activities. Some college and university in China have carried out many kind of Outward Bound activities. And Outward Bound has played a very active role. But Outward Bound as an organic supplement to traditional physical education is still far from prospered in China at present.Nursing students are tomorrow’s angels. They should not only have excellent business capabilities, but good physical, excellent teamwork skills, well personality and good attitude to service the patients etc. Traditional physical education can only train the students’ fitness; it can’t train the students’ teamwork skills, dedication spirit and creativity etc. As the same well, Outward Bound is just a precisely organic supplement to traditional physical education. Outward Bound has such a feature; the feature is that personally experience comes before Knowledge transfer. Outward Bound can give the trainees a big heart shock in a short time. After discussions and exchanges between each others, the nursing students’ necessary capacities must have been well enhanced. The whole training process is three-dimensional, intuitive, entertaining, emphasizing participation and Cooperation, so the trainees will enjoy the training process undoubtedly.Nursing profession has its own characteristics different from other professional. Physical education should be characterized according to its professional settings accordingly. The current domestic status of physical education in the nursing profession is still traditional "large classes".it is not in keeping with the demands of nursing expertise in the new era. To introduce the Outward Bound into nursing profession can not only enrich the connotation of physical education, but expand its outreach. The aim to do so is to achieve the purpose of cultivating the qualified nurses in the new era. Right now the hardware in the common colleges is not very good. The Outward Bound programs should be designed based on the actual situation of the college, in order to enhance the potential of students in maximum.In this study, we designed more than10kinds of different Outward Bound programs according to the nursing students’ characteristics, and also verified the reasonableness of these programs. In the experiment process, we use two classes of students as the experimental group, two classes of students as a control group. After the experiment,we use the feeling scale test and the social adaptability scale test to check the results. Experimental results show that nursing students nursing to not only enhanced the interest of physical exercise, but also improved their social adaptability.At present China is ongoing the reform of education in broad-scale, but the reform of physical education is still in a slow progress. Our nation and college have do a lot to invest the sports facilities, but so far the form and ideology about physical education is still not changed. Many students are not interested in physical education. After20hours’ Outward Bound training, students began to show the greeting about this new kind of training. Outward Bound not only played the role to strengthen students’ fitness,but also trained the overall qualities of nursing students. Outward Bound is not just a complement to traditional physical education, its methods can be also introduced to the ideology of traditional physical education in order to promote the reform of physical education.
