Dissertation Title Experimental Study Of Outward Bound Training In Physical Education In Higher Vocational Colleges

Experiential outward bound training have been introduced to China's colleges and universities for many years,among which the Department of Physical Education of Peking University is the first to offer the sports elective course “outreach training”.Because of the course's novelty and uniqueness,the teaching effect has received positive evaluation from the students.Experiential outreach training has enriched school physical education,changed the traditional PE teaching methods,and broadened the essential function of physical education in vocational colleges.Moreover,it is also a direct embodiment of the combination of physical education curriculum and professional development.Outward bound training is an experiential learning.With targeted courses designed by teachers,and by simulating the scenes in reality,the participating teams and each student can experience a series of challenges.Their willpower to overcome difficulties as well as positive attitudes and enhanced teamwork spitit will be eventually formed,Experiential outreach training can perfect the studentes' personality,organize and guide students to learn.Experiential development training targets the students,and participants should quickly adapt themselves to the training environment and the scene,in strict accordance with the requirements of the program,bringing everyone's spirit of innovation,cooperation,dedication into full play.All participants will actively use their brains,dare to think,and will be good at summerizing expericence.The ultimate aim is to achieve the educational function of both physical education and social service.According to my own experience of outward bound training,and considering the characteristics of personnel training in vocational education,the characteristics of the students' learning as well as their own cultural quality,we try our best to relate the physical education for the safety technology management majors with outward bound training based on the advanced design concept of outward bound training.This paper takes security technology management majors from Hunan Vocational Institue of Safety Technology as object,through the experimental sample comparison and review of a large number of literature,we conduct an experiment of implementing outward bound training on security technology management majors from Hunan Vocational Institue of Safety Technology.We take the training objective of this major,setting of core curriculum and characteristics of the majors into our consideration and sum upthe good experience of outward bound training from some colleges.Our goal is to make this training course play a positive role in cultivating talents in this major.After a semester of outward bound training,the results of experiment data analysis show that: the teaching of outword bound training is effective in the aspects of building social adaptability,teamwork spirit,prevention and control of accident,construction of safety culture consciousness,individual behavior value and so on.
