Physical education is an important component of preschool education. Children’s physical and mental development as well as children education caracters must be grasped, and preschool education teaching principles as well as methods which are the important ways for physical and functional development must be complied with, besides, preschool physical education courses can directly affect the correct understanding of sports as well as forming the basic sports knowledge of athletic ability for children. The teachers are the course directors for preschool physical education, therefore, their education ability and occupation quality will directly affect the physical and mental development and healthy growth of young children in the future.In this paper, the methods of literature, questionnaire, expert interview, on-the-spot investigation, mathematical statistics and other research methods were adopted, based on the related theories of education science and school physical education, physical education courses in preschool education department of some vocational colleges of Jinan were taken as research objects, and preschool physical education courses establishment factors and barriers as well as the problems and deficiencies in the course development were studied; reasonable analysis was produced according to these problems and related suggestions for teaching environment as well as teaching resources were proposed in order that the preschool physical education courses development and innovation in the vocational colleges can be on the right track, education values and understandings can be raised, physical education courses can be reasonably set up, courses setting and assessment standards can be reformed to enhance rapid and sound development of preschool physical education. The main conclusions are as follows:1."preschool physical education" is defined as:according to the sports rules and specific requirements, courses arrangement was based on children body and mind development laws to satisfy children’s interests and to set up reasonable preschool physical education courses.2. Through the survey, it was found that the "preschool physical courses" demands was very large in different nurseries, at the same time, the colleges with preschool education courses were also required innovation, therefore, it was very necessary for the colleges to reform the preschool physical education courses.3. Colleges had good discipline basis, teaching qualification, teaching environment as well as leaders and experts’ approvement, which provided strong conditions for preschool physical education courses.4. Preschool physical education courses in preschool education department of college were setted up according to the teaching aims, teaching contents, teaching methods and evaluation methods etc., which can make the preschool physical education courses more resonable and training goal more clearer in order to provide feasible schemes of preschool education in the future.
