Along with the spreading of new curriculum reform and diversification of educational evaluation, the research field of mathematics education calls for a point of view, that mathematics teaching requires not only to reinforce understanding the nature of mathematics study, but also to go deep into exploring students’ sensibilities about math. It is found that sensibilities plays a very important role to affect the study quality, based on a further research about the influencing factors of math study. Under the educational culture background of Chinese characteristics, certain sensibilities like emotional feelings, opinions, ideas and attitudes emerged during the math studying process get valued by research workers. How are these sensibilities are formed highly relates to the historical and educational background, in short, we can say the topic of math sensibilities is eternal in the area of mathematics research. So, exploring the math sensibilities and their influence factors under <New Curriculum Standard> has certain research value, although many research findings both at home and abroad worth referencing have been put out. The forming process of students’math sensibilities is based on the learning experience guided by the new curriculum reform idea, therefore, it is a feedback to the teaching objectives of <new curriculum standard>. Studying on the math sensibilities helps us to reflect on the issues about the math sentimental education under current new curriculum idea, which has a theoretical significance and practical value on education. In research methods, quantitative research takes the majority of domestic researches. This dissertation is mainly based on qualitative research of students’ math sensibilities and their influence factors, as a supplement of relative quantitative researches. This study is divided into two phases. On the first phase, I mainly review the literatures, including600electronic articles and43paper books. Through classifying and analyzing the collected materials, I finally set up a framework of this dissertation. Students’ math sensibilities involve,(dominant or recessive)attitudes and inner experience towards math, the degree of love about math, the emotional experience and feelings to learning process and contents of math, and attitudes towards mathematical workers during the studying process. They reflect students’ personal mental world which is formed during the cognitive process of math learning. They are termini generals of psychological factors that are directly participated in and affect the learning activities. The elements of research are according to object of study, this article is mainly focused on students’math sensibilities. Junior school students’math sensibilities are mainly divided into three parts:the attitudes toward math, the emotional experience of math study, the attitudes toward working on math.On the second phase, I take the qualitative researching method, choosing junior school students(a total of12)in Hubei A middle school and Shaanxi province B middle school as the research objects, based the principle of voluntary. On the basis of the first phase of study, I made the interview outline, recorded, coded, classified and analyzed the original materials collected by Semi-structured interviews and other ways. I explored the math sensibilities of junior school students formed under Chinese educational culture background from three aspects, then, analyzed their main factors. The result shows that Teacher’s personal qualities, Relaxed classroom atmosphere, The harmonious relationship between teachers and students, various channels of teaching evaluation, ect, all play important roles in forming junior high school students mathematics sensibilities. Finally, through the reflection of the collected materials and the research process, combined with the idea of new course reform in junior high school, this study provides some pedagogical implications for junior middle school students (positive the suggestions and strategies).
