The Existing Problems And Countermeasures Of The Contemporary College Students’ Social Responsibility

The Opinions about Strengthening and Improving Ideological and Political Education of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China indicate that to strengthen the ideal faith education for the college students and their education of the world outlook, the outlook on life and values,"make college students require a correct understanding of the law of social development, meet the fate of the country, meet their social responsibilities". The National Medium-and Long-Term Plan for Education Reform and Development(2010-2020) put forward the core of education reform and development of strategic themes including "to enhance students’ sense of social responsibility of servicing national and people".In memory of his speech in the anniversary of the tsinghua university,Hu jintao emphasize "Fully implement The Party’s education policy, adhere to education, morality, ability, all-round development and focus on enhancing students’ sense of social responsibility of servicing national and people.According to the requirements of The Party Central Committee,help college students solve the problems at the aspect of social responsibility and guide students to set up strong sense of social responsibility is the important subject of the ideological and political education of contemporary college students.This article has carried this topic embarking from the actual on the thorough discussion.In addition to The Introduction,Full-text is divided into three parts.The first part,this paper discusses the importance of improving the sense of social responsibility to the contemporary college students:perfect their personality,enhance their ability and conducive them to growth up.The second part,this paper analysis the issues and reasons about the current college students’ sense of social responsibility. This paper argues that the main problems about present college students’ social responsibility as follows:Some college students emphasize personal self-interest and light social responsibility; Some college students lack consciousness of social responsibility;Some college students are duplicity.The cause of these problems mainly are the impact of negative factors in the social life,lack of sense of responsibility education for college students in colleges and universities,improper education ideas and ways in family,the subtle effects of peer groups and college students’ own factors influence.The third part,this paper puts forward the countermeasures to solve the problem of college students’ social responsibility:Colleges and universities should strengthen the education of social responsibility of college students;give full play to the role of family in cultivating college students’ social responsibility;strengthen college students’ peer groups of benign interaction and improve the social responsibility of college students;the government should vigorously work to develop college students’ sense of social responsibility;improve students’ awareness of social responsibility, give full play to its main body dynamic role.
