The Chinese government attaches great importance to the development of ethnic minorities. Supporting Small national development plan (2011-2015) will support28ethnic groups with small population, including Daur. The Daur mainly live in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Heilongjiang Province. The object of this paper is Hulunbeier City, Morin Dawa Daur Autonomous Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, which is the only Daur Autonomous Banner in China. The development of Morin Dawa Daur Autonomous Banner will better reflect the development of the Daur. At present, the domestic Daur research is mainly in the Daur music, language, the comprehensive study about Daur development is less. Therefore, I select the Morin Dawa Daur Autonomous Banner Daur as the research object. In August2012,I went to the relevant government departments of Morin Dawa Daur Autonomous Banner, some of the towns and villages. By survey, I have a more comprehensive understanding on the development of the Daur.The article is divided4chapter:Chapter1is the basic profiles of the Morin Dawa Daur Autonomous Banner. From the physical geography, demographic composition, history and culture, I introduce the comprehensive situation of the Morin Dawa Daur Autonomous Banner.Chapter2is the changes and development of the Morin Dawa Daur Autonomous Banner. From the politic, economy, and culture, I proved that the production and the lifestyle have great changes.Chapter3is the problems of the Morin Dawa Daur Autonomous Banner in the further development.
