The blackboard, as the first generation of revolutionary teaching tool, as early as1801, had beenentered the classroom, nearly200years, it has far-reaching implications for the teaching characters.However, in the past ten years, with the rapid development of information technology and educationinformationization, a kind of new teaching tools--interactive whiteboard, gradually changes theblackboard’s dominance, it can be combined with the computer, not only retains the writing skills oftraditional blackboard, but also complies with the trend of multimedia teaching, realises the interactioncontrol with the computer, can conveniently present, process and storage various teaching materials, theseproperties of it are welcomed by the majority of teachers, since the new century, it has gradually entered theclassroom, becomes the mainstream educational media in primary and middle schools in china. At present,the classroom teaching is still the core part of school education, therefore, the core of education informationin primary and secondary schools is the teaching information. How to the classroom teaching informationand realize information technology and curriculum integration of primary and secondary schools, becamethe problem that the educators must think, and the appearance of interactive whiteboard, brings a newbreakthrough for the integration of information technology and curriculum, has provided the powerfultechnical support for the implementation of information technology education in primary and middleschools.With the development of the subject of information technology and curriculum integration, combininginteractive whiteboard into classroom teaching has become the inevitable choice of the majority ofeducators. With its unique features and advantages to teaching, interactive whiteboard will effectively promote the teaching and learning reform. If the functions and advantages of interactive whiteboard areapplied to physics teaching in middle school, they will greatly promote the development of middle schoolphysics.This study firstly described the present situation of the electronic whiteboard at home and abroadthrough extensive literature survey, combining with the city of Xinxiang in Henan province No.10on thebasis of relevant theories in physics classroom teaching, by watching and analysising of classroom video,carrying on the questionnaire survey and individual interviews of teachers to students, analysised the curretapplicationn status of electronic whiteboard in the middle school classroom, and then through the analysisof advantages of interactive whiteboard in the physics classroom teaching in middle school, use of itsadvantage to the teaching design of the middle school physics classroom, and analysed the relatedproblems of the select of teaching materials and teaching strategies in the process of teaching design, andthen found the shortcomings and defects of the interactive whiteboard application in physics teaching inmiddle school through the analysis, provided the feasible advice for the future improvement and betterdevelopment, and finally summaried the research, elaborated on the advantages and disadvantages of it,and expected the future research.We hope to realize the organic integration of interactive electronic whiteboard better with middleschool physics teaching through the physics classroom teaching research, in order to further enhance thedegree of education informatization of middle school, so as to continuously improve the effectiveness ofphysics classroom teaching in middle school.
