The Influence Of Parental Control On College Students’ Prosocial Behavior Tendency

In this study,colleage students were selected as research objects.lt apply parental control questionnaire and existing prosocial behavior tendency questionnaire to investiage colleage student’s evaluation of parental control behavior during their growth and college student’s prosocial behavior tendency,then combine the two to explore parental control effect to prosocial behavior tendency. We obtained results as follows:(1) Parents tend to adopt behavior control during teaching activity.Mother’s total control level is higher than father’s(2) Parents adopt more control for the same gender whlie they are treating their children of different gender.(3) One-child feels higher parental mental control than not one-child while not one child feels more behavior control.(4) The prosocial behavior tendency of colleage’s students totally stays middle even higher level,while the scoreof their coopration and share tendency is highest,the score of their dedication tendency is lowest.(5) The function of parental mental control is different to the prediction of colleage student’s prosocial behavior. Father’s mental control has negative prediction on cooperation,share and helping, while mother’s mental control has negative prediction on the four dimentions of prosocial behavior tendency.(6) The parental behavior control has significantly positive prediction on the four dimentions of prosocial behavior tendency.
