The psychological Suzhi is based on the individual’s physiological conditions and existing knowledge and experience, and internalizes the externally obtained stimulus into a stable, basic, derived psychological quality that is closely related to the adaptive behavior and creative behavior of people. It plays a key role in the mechanism of mental health and is an important condition for maintaining individual mental health.Good psychological Suzhi helps teenagers to achieve better academic performance, better regulate their emotions, reduce social anxiety and problem behaviors, and prevent a series of negative results.Family environment is an important factor affecting the psychological development of children and adolescents, and parental rearing patterns play a decisive role in the formation of children’s psychological Suzhi. Therefore, this study will take parental control as an indicator in the family education environment, adopt the questionnaire survey method and the experimental method, through two studies to investigate the influence of different types of parental control on the psychological Suzhi of junior high school students and its mechanism, and intervene in the influencing factors. In study 1,616 junior high school students were selected as the research objects, and a questionnaire survey was used to explore the influence of parental psychological control and parental behavior control on the psychological Suzhi of junior high school students,as well as the intermediary role of parent-child attachment. In study 2,45 junior high school students were randomly divided into experimental group and control group by experimental method.Group counseling intervention was conducted on the students in the experimental group, while the students in the control group did not have any intervention. It was tested that group counseling intervention could improve the level of parent-child attachment, and thus play a role in improving the psychological Suzhi of junior high school students. The results show that:(1)there are significant differences in parental psychological control, behavioral control,parent-child attachment and psychological Suzhi among different demographic variables;(2)The negative control of parents’ psychology predicts parent-child attachment and psychological Suzhi;Parental behavior control positively predicted parent-child attachment and psychological Suzhi;(3)Parent-child attachment plays an intermediary role between parental control(psychological control and behavioral control)and junior high school students’ psychological Suzhi, that is,parental psychological control and behavioral control affect junior high school students’ psychological Suzhi through parent-child attachment;(4)Group psychological counseling can effectively improve the level of parent-child attachment of junior high school students and help improve their psychological Suzhi.Based on the ecosystem theory and self-determined theory, this study explored the relationship between different types of parental control and the psychological Suzhi of junior high school students, and the intermediary role of parent-child attachment, and further found that group psychological counseling intervention can effectively improve the level of parent-child attachment of junior high school students, thus improving their psychological Suzhi. This reveals the internal mechanism of parental control affecting the psychological Suzhi of junior high school students, complements the reasons for the formation and external influencing factors of psychological Suzhi, and also enriches the intervention research of parent-child attachment.
