Chemistry curriculum standard of the exercises of the request is:" to help thestudents to discover and put forward questions; to encourage students to go deep intothe realities of life, investigation, consultation or experiment, finally solve chemistryproblems; to encourage students to use knowledge, from different angles, differentlevels of thinking, creative problem solving." Teachers are often based on experienceaccording to different student achievement to design exercise, but few teacher carries onthe analysis to the students from the aspects of students’ cognitive structure ofknowledge system in the design of hierarchical problem, so this paper focuses on theseproblems and the corresponding design strategy. This paper has three parts of research:The part, through literature review to understand the status of research on highschool chemical level exercises at home and abroad, analyses the theoretical basis ofcognitive differences in education, the importance of digging theoretically design level.In the present research, through analysis the chemistry exercises analysis is mainly the principle andstrategy of exercise compilation from the macro level, from the microscopic configuration accordingto their characteristics and corresponding exercises on the specific problem research is less, lessresearch and theory on the level of exercise combination. This paper focuses on this aspect tothe.The second part analysis the types and functions of differences of students’ cognitive structureand hierarchy of problem analysis, through the analysis of the difference scores between students inthe cognitive structure, depending on the type and level of function exercises, designed for studentsof different exercises, to prepare for the third part of the contents of. the design method ofhierarchical exercises and design strategy, design methods are proposed from the theory, to designexercise from the students’ cognitive structure of different, puts forward the design strategy andadvice in the design process.
