| "Glory" and "Shame" is a basic category of ethics, which are the two important criteria to evaluate andstandardize people’s thought and behavior, and the concept of honor and disgrace is the basic views andattitude of people on the honor and disgrace, it is the outlook on life，world and the values importantcontent.Different times, different society, different classes have different concept of honor and disgrace.With the rapid development of economic globalization, market economic system’s deepening reform,collide with each other and multicultural, the ideological concept, life style and value orientation of thecollege students have happened great changes. Some wrong values influenced the college students’concept of honor and disgrace, making the college students appears some wrong concept of honor anddisgrace, which influenced the good society atmosphere, bringing a strong pound to the traditional moralconcept, which have brought great challenges to the ideological and political education in colleges.Therefore, researching on College Students’ concept of honor and disgrace have an important practicalsignificance, which is not only good for constructing the harmonious society,but also promoting all-rounddevelopment of Ideological and political education,at the some time improving college students.This article starts with the concept, characteristics and functions of the honor and disgrace, cardingstudents’ concept of honor and disgrace of home and abroad on related theory research, on the basis of thesocialist concept of honor and disgrace make questionnaire of college students’ concept of honor anddisgrace. the research object is the students of Shi Hezi University, through the SPSS software for datastatistics, counting and analyzing current situation of College Students’ concept of honor and disgrace,concluding the college students’ concept of honor and disgrace exist five problems. First,concept of honorand disgrace fuzzy boundaries;second, the lack of scientific spirit,.Third,The concept of Utilitarianism andrealism tendency intensified, Fouth,work hard and perseveringly spirit desalination, hedonism andintensifies, The fifth, cognition and behavior are separated. And from the three aspects of social,educational, personal comprehensive analysis the causes of college students honor concept’ problem,andputting forward some the homologous Countermeasures and suggestions.Schools and teachers have alwaysbeen the main place and direct education implementation of College Students’ socialist concept of honorand disgrace education, therefore, the school should emphasize the disgrace education, clear boundaries;educators should enrich the teaching content, teaching method, play main channel the role; play the roleeducation of good example; combining moral theory and the practice; perfecting the moral evaluationmechanism and reward,punishment mechanism. At the same time, society, school, family should create acommon moral environment for college students’ education of the concept of honor and disgrace.
