There is some same behavior between the two kinds of lottery players, such as most of them are at a lower level in the economic status. They are confused to their future and unable to carry out other investments. They have great hopes of winning the lottery suction, and the main reason attracts them to buy lottery tickets is easy to play and the high chance of winning. The main way to buy lottery tickets are machine selection, followed by optional. While there are some differences between them can’t be ignore, such as the level of education, the attempt of winning the lottery, different behavior of buy lottery and different access to get the winning information, different purposes to buy lottery tickets, even their family take different attitude towards their behavior on buying lottery tickets.Structure and function theory, the conflict theory, symbolic interaction theory, social learning theory are used to explain college students and migrant workers groups who buy Lottery to get rich sociology reasons, and the economics of economic man hypothesis to explain the reasons of university students and migrant workers who buy lottery.This study explained from the lottery nature and probability theory analysis lottery’s investment and income.
