Consumption is an important part of people’s life. With the development of economy and the progress of the society, people’s consumption present a rising trend. The contemporary college students master wealth of knowledge, they are youthful and energetic, at the same time, they are the future of our motherland, the main groups of society, also a special and representative groups. Although their economic have not independent, they have financial autonomy, so their consumption is an important part of social consumption. Their consumption idea reflects not only their own lives, the value orientation and the formation and development of the world view, but aslo the reflection of more countless families’consumption idea, at the same time, it reflects the degree of social development and the the series of related problems that existing in the development of society. So whether the contemporary college students have a correct concept of consumption or not will directly affect the rationality of the nation’s consumption, and the development situation of the consumption.This article is divided into six parts. The first chapter is introduction, mainly introduced the purpose and significance of the research, the theoretical basis of the research, the research review, the definition research problem and the interpretation of related concepts and the innovation and defect of the research. The chapter two explained the the overall design of the research and did detailed analysis to the questionnaire data of the research. In the chapter three, we find there are a series of different characteristics of "the generation after90s" college students’ consumption idea, and at the same time it still has some tendency of consumerism. In the chapter four, for the a series of problems of the high consumption and enjoyment consumption, blind consumption and conformity consumption, comparison consumption and precocious consumption, conspicuous consumption and symbols consumption, we analyzed the reasons. In the chapter five, we put forward the importance of create a positive and healthy social consumption environment, campus consumption environment, household consumption environment and strength personal consumption moral ideas. We aslo put forward the reasonable and effective countermeasures and suggestions that guide "the generation after90s" college students develop healthy consumption idea and proposed the value orientation of the future consumption idea. The sixth chapter is the summary.
