Nowadays, college love is popular. However, frustrations are inevitable when itcomes to love. Elusion to these setbacks causes serious consequences to thepsychological health of college students. The growing experience of each student isdifferent from the other, which cause variation in terms of love style and the meansemployed to deal with others. Positive and mature coping styles can successfullyresolve the problem, yet negative ones only worsen the situation. This research attemptsto from the aspect of adult attachment and coping styles of college students, to studyand examine the relationship of college students, then, to help them build theappropriate behavior patterns, so as to improve their satisfaction of love.This research targets college students in science and engineer in major, adoptingrelationship through questionnaire, coping styles questionnaire, emotion regulationquestionnaire, intimate relationship between negative attribution questionnaire andrelationship satisfaction, respectively, the adult attachment questionnaire, coping stylesand relationship satisfaction survey, the situation of the whole on the basis of analyzingthe differences of demographic variables, among the correlation and regression analysis,the conclusions are as follows:1、Distribution of science and engineering college students’ attachment types is asfollows: secure39.1%,fearful27.8%, preoccupied22.6%, dismissing10.5%, indicatingthat science and engineering college students generally lack a sense of security; Theirway of dealing with the score of each factor on the sequence (from high to low in turn)is: solve the problem>ask for help> self-accusation> hypothesis>elusion>rationalization, cognitive reappraisal> expression suppression, negative attribution inintimate relationship at moderate levels, indicates that science and engineering collegestudents’ coping styles are more mature; Relationship satisfaction scores are: highdegree of satisfaction41.1%, moderate degree of satisfaction29.8%, low degree ofsatisfaction29.1%, indicates that most of the science and engineering college studentsare satisfied with their relationship.2、In terms of gender, the attachment of male college students superior to female ones, the former approach tends to be in a more rational way and relationshipsatisfaction is also higher than the latter. Looking from the grade distribution, seniorcollege students’ attachment status is superior to that of junior college students. Theformer one is more rational, thus has a higher satisfaction of love. In origin of students,rural students’ attachment status is superior than city and town college students, theformer ones use coping styles in a more mature way, this relationship satisfaction is alsohigher than the latter. In ters of parents’ marital status, college students of whomparents are in good relationship of attachment are superior to those of whom parentshave marital breakdown. The former solve the problem in a more effective way, andthus has a higher satisfaction of love. From whether having love experience, collegestudents who have love experience s is better than those who don’t the former approachis more rational, thus relationship satisfaction is significantly higher than the latter.3、Science and engineering college students’ adult attachment, coping styles andlove satisfaction are significantly related.4、Attachment anxiety, problem solving, help, retreats, cognitive reappraisal,expression suppression and negative attribution in intimate relationship couldeffectively predict satisfaction level of love.
