Experiments Of Decision Making Under Time Pressure

The research of decision-making under time pressure has always been a focus in the field of decision-making research. The researchers carried out a lot of studies, but on the influence of decision making under different time pressure, some of the results are not consistent, and the previous studies have some deficiencies in theories and views. In order to study the effect of time pressure on individual decision making further. This study through three experiments, the first experiment explores the effects of the quality of decision under different time pressure. The second experiment explores the regulation function to individual decisions under different time pressure and time monitoring. The third experiment explores the effect of emotion regulation of individual decision under different time pressure.The following conclusions have been taken from this research:1. Time pressure affects the quality of decision. In the condition of high time pressure, the quality of decision decreases significantly; In the condition of medium time pressure, the quality of decision has a trend of increase.2. In the condition of high time pressure, the subject use non-compensatory strategy; In the condition of medium time pressure or without time pressure, the subject use compensatory strategy.3. Time monitoring plays an important regulatory role on the quality of decision and the time of decision.4. Cognitive reappraisal promote the quality of decision and the depth of search.
