Under the influence of the collective teaching, nowadays, class teaching of TCSL can’tsatisfy all the need of every learner. If one can’t find the right way during the learning process,it would definitely do harm to his learning result. So, how to match learning style to theclassroom teaching has become a key point of today’s teaching and scientific research. Underthis trend, researching and using the theory of Learning Style become more and moreimportant. So far, the researches of this field mainly focus on the reliability and validity of theinventories, there’s almost no one using Learning Style theory to make a Chinese instructionaldesign. Meanwhile, the research of Brunei’s Chinese teaching is also rare to be seen.Fortunately, I used to be teaching in Brunei for one year, and I know Brunei’s Chineseeducation has so many problems to be solved. So, I hope this paper can provide a new way tohelp.First of all, there’s summary of the theory of Differentiated Teaching and the theory ofLearning Style; Second, you can have a glance of the current situation of Brunei’s Chineseeducation; Lastly, using the VAK inventory to figure out what kind of style of the year6students in CHMS, then make a Chinese instructional design according to the results, after theteaching practicing, I give my own suggestions for Brunei’s Chinese teaching.We use many ways to finish this research, including material collection, class practicing,and using questionnaire to get information and to do the assistant research. |
