Catering services is one of the important functions of the logistical support of the college. In order to give full play to public function and ensure the normal university teaching and scientific research activities, University logistic must improve the level of management and dig deep internal potential to reduce production costs in the current situation of rising prices. So inventory as the catering costs of University logistics in the most important part are important components of logistics financial management in catering. Despite of that, inventory management level of University logistics in China at the present stage, in General, is still based mainly on experience management, because academic catering is short of inventory management system for self-interest, so it becomes one of the bottlenecks.In this paper, on the basis of access to domestic and international inventory management system theory and research overview, Firstly, This paper is regarded the inventory management system design and implementation as an organic whole, secondly, it is analyzed the deficiencies of catering inventory management through the status of ZJAF investigation, then, it is proposed improvement programmers and set improvement goals and principles by a software systems analysis and design, to make it standardized through business process, organization, system, hardware, software, and human resources, at last, it is summarized the two sides from the system design and implementation.
