This paper conduct a comprehensive investigation and research on the currentsituation of five primary Martial arts schools in northern Xinjiang, mainly by usingthe literature material method, interview method, investigation method, mathematicalstatistics, comparative analysis research method. And on the basis of investigation, itanalysis to find out the current characteristics and problems in the martial schools innorthern Xinjiang, and then study out the development strategies of martial artsschools in northern Xinjiang region. Through this study, in order to provide areference for local martial arts schools on how to better develop the new situation.(1)The smaller number of martial arts schools, its smaller size, and thediversified choices of further education and employment make the non-publiclyfunded martial schools investors lose confidence, the operation and management ofthe martial school can not keep up. So the overall level of martial arts in northernXinjiang is on the low side.(2)Coaches in Martial arts Schools generally have lowerqualifications and low level of technology, and coaches is lacking, training venuesand facilities can not meet the training requirements.(3)The conditions of individualmartial arts schools are not in the same level, without the school authorities forapproval, they advertise arbitrarily and conduct false propaganda to deceiveconsumers. In the educational process, non-strict education led to the lawlessness ofthe school students going out of school, this endangering social order, resulting inloss of life and property to the people.(4)Most leaders of martial arts schools haveMartial arts background, they lack of professional management knowledge andexperience, business sense and decision-making capacity is bad, when thedevelopment of the school come to a certain size, the development of the schooldirectly is hindered due to the lack of preparation of policymakers’ knowledge andmental ability.(5)Xinjiang Martial arts schools started earlier, but develop relativelymore slowly.(6)In the past few years there have been some new problems such thatprofessional martial arts school is gradually reduced, and they are replaced by somemartial arts training institutions, Martial arts.Propose the development strategies for the problems of the martial arts schoolsin northern Xinjiang: It is necessary for martial arts schools to conduct reasonabletransformations according to the needs of social development, but highlighting themartial arts;Strive to improve the quality of the school’s educational and businesslevel of coaches,organize a coach inspectors to the Higher Institute of Physical Education, or high school quality Martial arts training, strengthen Martial arts moraleducation, improve the comprehensive quality of students, and expand the museumschool publicity, and often take part in a number of martial arts performances andlarge martial arts competition, increase the influence of the school, enhance thefaculty, strengthen software construction of martial arts schools in the various forms.Initiatively adapt to social and market needs, and try hard to improve the educationallevel of management, make the development of the school meet the economic andsocial benefits complementary, fight for more policies support; relevant governmentdepartments should strengthen supervision of martial arts schools, make strictexamination and approval procedures, and the schools dissatisfying the requirementsof running schools must be resolutely banned, ensure that the benign developmentof martial arts schools; government education departments should put into privateschools in educational planning, and make co-ordination arrangements, establish thesound student employment security system, broaden employment channels.
