The Present Situation Of Chinese National Man Basketball Team And The Countermeasures

The appearance of “Moving Great Wall” seems to denote that Chinesenational basketball team has obtained enough capability to reach the peakof international basketball competition. However, it turns out to be quitethe opposite. In this thesis the author puts forward his own definitionon the connotation, concept and content of basketball style. With theapplication of system theory and other related theories, the conclusionis drawn as below:First of all, as to the definition of the style of athletic basketball,it is the synthetic features on the stamina, strategy and willpower thatare performed through systematic training and competition within certainperiod of time.Secondly, the style of basketball games can be divided into severalkinds, such as the style of skill, that of strategy and that of competition,among which the first two belongs to what is material and the third tospirit.Thirdly, the history of the style of Chinese basketball denotes thatChinese basketball must adhere to the style of being all-round, rapid,agile and accurate. Otherwise, it is hard for Chinese national basketballteam to achieve good marks in international race.Fourthly, through the analysis of the latest two International ManBasketball Championship Contests, the author finds out that Chinese manbasketball team has already set up the style of “interior line as themain strength”, which is in accordance with the trend of basketball game.However, the players at exterior line are lack of the strategy of beingall-round, rapid, agile and accurate, which leads to the bad performancein contest.Fifthly, Chinese man basketball team’ play tactic couldn’t keep pacewith the advanced play tactic of world.Last but not least, the traditional “overall thinking” and“sensibility way of thinking” makes it difficult for Chinese manbasketball team to shape its proper style.
