The Research On The Establishment Of Characteristic Professionalism For Independent Colleges

As the product of the development of institutional innovation of higher educationin China, independent colleges which have developed for12years have become avital part of education system of China. Because of its congenitally deficient andshortage, especially compared with subordinate colleges, which makes thecharacteristic strategy become more important to the development of independentcolleges in the future. At the mean time, one of the most attractive factors is thecharacteristic professionalism which means once the college owns characteristic andadvantage major, the college will get opportunities to make itself become morecompetitive. However, the establishment and development of characteristicprofessionalism are limit by a lot of factors such as the outside problem andqualifications of independent colleges itself and so on.The core problem which will be focused in this essay is about how to establishappropriate characteristic professionalism. And in order to solve this problem, in thisessay several methods like literature review method, historical method and case studymethod will be used. And relative suggestions will be offered based on data andrelative materials.
