The AP course is called University High school Advanced Course, or UniversityHigh School Joined Course. It is a plan for the students to study the freshman yearcourses in advance designed for high school students under the guidance of CollegeBoard, that is to say, the students can learn the related AP courses when they are ingrade two and three in high school. After they finish their studies they can attend theunited AP course exam, and the credits they get can be taken as their college credits.This is not only alleviating the teaching contradiction among the excellent high schoolstudents who “do not have enough to eat”, but also reduces the academic pressureduring their university time. It meanwhile also can excavate students potential as soonas possible, and avoid being bewildered when students choose their majors after theyenter the university. This also is an excellent way to cultivate creative talents.From the main factors of the success of the AP courses, this paper deeplyanalyzes the reasons why the AP courses can be successful and get the recognitionand approval in a short time. This paper consists of five parts: the first part is theintroduction to elaborate the origin of the paper research, the related literature review,research ideas and methods as well as the related conception definition, researchsignificance, and possibility innovation. The second part summarizes the AP course ina brief overview: firstly, this part elaborates the reasons for the AP courses’emergencefrom background and causes; secondly, it discusses the development of the APcourses according to the distribution and the course category. The third part is themain part to expound the successful factors of AP courses. This paper discusses indetail from timely remedial measures, powerful “logistics”, its own unique advantagesof the AP course and theoretical support. It is these factors that make the AP coursedevelop rapidly all over the world and get people’s approval and recognition. Thefourth part is the end of this article analysing the national improvement of AP coursefrom the implementation in China recently, environment background and thenpropose the forecast from the cognition and the necessity of the education teachingdevelopment in order to achieve “Chinese style cohesion from secondary schoolcourses” as early as possible.The fifth part is the conclusion, briefly illustrating thedefects and shortcomings of this article.
