In the era of knowledge economy, the new science and technology is the source of social development, and as the main body to promote the progress of science and technology, innovative talents have become the first resource of national science and technology competitiveness and national comprehensive strength. The innovation of education system, cultivating outstanding innovative talents has become an international consensus. China’s government is increasing the exploration of innovative talents training system to meet the needs of building innovative country,enhancing the competitiveness of our country, improving the quality of education and teaching,easing the pressure of employment and so on. This paper affirms the significance of innovative talents training system, through the research on the content of innovative education system of Chinese and American universities, explores the similarities and differences between Chinese and American universities in innovation education system. In this process, fully mobilize the enthusiasm of all parties, optimize the educational resources, in order to achieve the goal of improving the students’ innovative spirit, innovative consciousness and innovative ability. Finally,the author puts forward some suggestions and opinions on how to carry out the innovation education system in China. The research contents of this paper mainly include the following aspects:(1)To sort out the relevant literature, analyze the research background, purpose,theoretical and practical significance of the innovation education system, and clarify the research ideas, research methods and innovation;(2)The concept of innovative education, educational innovation, innovation education system and key success factors;(3)To construct the index system of innovation education on the basis of the news websites of Chinese and American universities and the theory of higher education, and to determine the weight of each index and the key success factors of the innovation education system by using the analytic hierarchy process;(4)With the key success factors of innovation education system, the content analysis of the innovation education system of Chinese and American universities, and its characteristics are compared and studied;(5)Combined with the previous theoretical results, this article puts forward some feasiblesuggestions for the construction of innovative education system in our country. The research for innovation education system of our country construction and implementation of laid a theoretical foundation and results related to the innovation of education system, corresponding optimization and improvement will be an appropriate increase in the colleges and universities of our country education and innovation talents training ability.
