Study On Administrative Management System Of Private Higher Education In India

Since the1990s, private higher education is booming worldwide, and its role is increasingly hampered by the attention. Private Higher Education has a long history, but the private higher education in the new era is showing a new face. Compared with the elite private higher education in the past, the development of private higher education in the new era is driven by market. Its generated background, educational purposes, the quality of education and government relations is different from the elite private higher education in the past. The government how to effectively guide and manage private higher education is the current popular issues.In the new era, private higher education rapidly develop in developing countries. Private higher education in India, as a typical case of private higher education in developing countries, is worth to study. It can reinforce study of administrative management system of private higher education in developing countries, and also provide the reference for China’s reform of administrative management system of private higher education.By using literature analytic method, historical analytic method, this paper analyze and discuss the contents of the administrative management system of private higher education in India, mainly from two aspects, include the structure of administrative management system of private higher education in Indian and the operation mechanism of administrative management system of private higher education in India.In addition to the introduction, the paper includes four parts. The first part is the development of private higher education in India, it Gone through three stages:the British colonial rule, after India’s independence to the end of the1980s, since1990s. The second part is the structure of administrative management system of private higher education in India, respectively analyzed from two aspects, the first is separation of powers of administrative management system of private higher education, and the second is judicial intervention’s influence on the administrative management system of private higher education. The third part is the operation mechanism of the administrative management system of private higher education in India:the hierarchical management mechanism, the Category access mechanism, and the promote educational opportunities fair mechanism. The fourth part summarizes the several problems that exist in the administrative management system in Indian:repeated management, management confusion, lack of funding mechanisms and quality assurance mechanisms. The last part is the conclusion, gets some reference for China’s reform of administrative management system of private higher education on the basis of recalling the full text.
