The street dancing has greatdevelopment in the countries of Asia and Africa because of its wide participating.Today’s street dancing has already combined the styles of dancing, sports and culture.The movements of the street dancing are in a variety of ways. So that many teenagersthink it as their avocation. The development of the society and the competitivecharacteristic make the street dancing in great demand. But there is no major of thestreet dancing in any sport universities. So there is a antinomy of the street dancingprofessionals between the rising of demands and the lacks of cultivating.Shanghai University Of Sports is a key national sports university and the sporteducation major is the base specialty of sport. But the sports courses they have an thestudents graduated have the similarity in all the sport universities. So ShanghaiUniversity Of Sports should form its special sports courses according to thedevelopment of the society.By using the method of documentation, survey, mathematical statistics and researchmethods, this thesis is based on the necessity, feasibility of establishing the major ofthe street dancing in Shanghai University Of Sports, through the investigation and theanalysis, the main findings are as follows:As a special dance, the street dancing contains five styles, they are hip-hop,popping, locking, jazz, and breaking. hip-hop has the most complexbility feelings inall of them. And the foundations of hip-hop are five physical roundness state, sevenrhythm methods and the point-line technology.
