Academic procrastination is delay the completion of the tasks associated with thepersonal academic learning scenarios, so that can not be completed within the stipulatedtime, including behavior, cognitive and emotional components of the multi-dimensionaltheoretical structure, focus on the performance of the procrastinator in the targetbehavior their cognitive differences, reduce the degree of importance of the task, anddelay is concluded bring the procrastinator emotional discomfort. The academicprocrastination widespread in the junior high school learning activities, research ofjunior high school academic procrastination, can effectively guide the students correctacademic procrastination behavior, grasp the anti-procrastination method more helpfulto the students’ physical and mental development. The same time, the academicprocrastination is an important factor in the junior high school learning efficiency, so theresearch academic procrastination, guide student learning has important significance forimproving students’ academic efficiency at a practical level.In this study, students’ academic procrastination questionnaire of Chengdu,Chengdu column five secondary schools, Longquan, Tin Ka Ping Secondary School,Honghe middle school four secondary schools the first day to the third of the1095student group survey, analysis of junior high school academic procrastination the statusquo, comparing different gender, grade level, school type, and whether the one-childstay in school, and whether different class cadre variable academic delay differencesand analyzed using SPSS and Amos software, the following conclusions:⑴The Students in delaying questionnaire "for each question average score of3.09,junior high school academic delay prevalent, more serious.⑵Junior high school academic procrastination there is no significant difference ingender, male students and female students in the day-to-day learning activities,academic procrastination considerable degree.⑶Junior high school academic procrastination showed a significant difference inthe grade. And found that the trend is broadly consistent with the grade in eachdimension. Grade Two academic procrastination situation is most serious, followed bythe first grade, third grade is the least serious.(4) Junior high school academic procrastination is no significant difference in theone-child, that is not the only child in the day-to-day learning activities, academic procrastination considerable degree.⑸Junior high school academic procrastination showed a significant difference onwhether to live on campus. Boarding students delay situation is more serious thannon-boarding students.⑹Junior high school academic procrastination showed a significant difference inwhether or not to serve as class cadre. Served as the class cadre classmates academicprocrastination situation better than ordinary students.⑺Junior high school academic procrastination is no significant difference in thetype of school.Finally, for the study of this problem, to do further thinking, put forward afour-point proposal:⑴strengthen the education of junior high school boys.(2) to strengthen the management of early sophomore.⑶improve the junior high school academic accomplishment.⑷culture of junior high school students self-learning ability, in particular, is theonly child.
