The Research On The Matter Of Students Strike During The May4th Period

Since China modern times, the development of education of China, students as a social force, their influences also continue to strengthen. Students become one of the main forces of the new culture movement and the May4th movement. Especially before and after the May4th movement, students who are the subject launched the students strike. The matter of students’ strikes is the main component of the Chinese intellectuals’anti-imperialist patriotic movement. Froml915-1917, the students began to have rebellious consciousness for academic life things. And then to1918, the students began the first public petitions against signing "Jointly against Enemy Military Agreement". And then to1919, the students strike fought against the cession of Qingdao, refused to Germany. This series of students strike made the quisling government and the Empire invaders heavy blow. A series of the students’ strike hit the government and imperial invaders.The main body of this thesis includes the four sections as follows. Section1introduced the present situation,the existence of the significance、this research and the existing problems. This section expounded the starting point of this paper and the method. It analyzed systematically the period of Republic of China students strike using literature method. Section2:the students strike of the May4th. This section introduced the background and motivation and analyzed the students strike of the May4th unerring the background. Section3: the characteristics of the students strike during the period of the May4th on the basis of the preamble. Section4:Historical reflection using ponders over about students strike during the period of the May4th. And summing up realistic meaning that the realistic meaning of the period of the May4th.The realistic is that the heart of the motherland and the spirit of sacrificing their own interests; the second one is that holding high the banner of democracy and science.Based on the May4th period ShenBao carding, I analysised the history of the movement characteristics and role in history, and revealed the limitations of the students strike, thus to make people aware of the students strike movement history in this period.
