From Reality To Website:Women’s Rights Advocacy In The Perspective Of Empowerment

With the introduction of western feminist theories and feminists’ continual promotion,"Gender Equality" has become a national policy. However, women are still facing different oppressions in nearly all aspects of lives. The lack of empowerment is the fundamental cause. Therefore, empowerment for women is the most fundamental and effective way to change the situation of women now.The graduation thesis research the women’s right advocacy called " I can be sexy, you can’t harass " in the perspective of empowerment, extract a new way named "Street Action-Network Advocacy" which may help women defend rights more effectively, and summarize the influential decisions and key factors. Finally, rethink the whole action from several aspects such as speciality, alliance and women’s rights opinion of feminists. Hope this thesis could provide an effective way to guide women to defend their rights.
