New teachers, also known as initial teachers, is a special group of teachers. New teachers just come out from campus and step into a new stage of life. Since it’s the beginning of their career, they will face the problem that not familiar with the teaching environment and the lack of the understanding of education policy and education experience. Also they will face the gap between the theoretical knowledge and practice. So they need to undergo a transition from the role of students to teachers by the induction training.With the increasing emphasis on our primary and secondary schools for new teachers, the induction of different ways and contents is carried out everywhere with a good result. We can summed up some useful experience, but there are also some dissatisfied effect. In this paper, with the analysis of the literature of new teacher induction, we analysis new teachers of primary and secondary schools in Qingyang District of Chengdu by the way of questionnaires and interviews. By summarizing, analyzing and evaluating their training methods, measures and results, we analysis the strengths and weaknesses of the training. At the same time, we identify the existing problems in the induction training of primary and secondary school teachers in Qingyang District. And to strengthen and improve the new teachers induction in the five ways such as improving the new teachers’ emphasis on the induction training, improving the government’s emphasis on the induction training, strengthening the new teacher induction system, strengthening school-based new teacher training efforts and exploring the new teacher induction of social model.
