The initial stage of employment is a critical period for new teachers to change their roles from student to teacher.Induction training plays an important role in the future professional development of new teachers. With the continuous deepening of the country's teacher education reform, many non-normal graduates have entered the teaching team.Compared with normal teachers,non-normal new teachers often encounter greater difficulties in the early stage of their employment due to the lack of a solid theoretical basis for education and teaching and a certain amount of practical experience. The significance of the induction training for non-normal new teachers is thus revealed. At the same time, due to the imbalanced economic and educational development in the eastern and western regions of our country, the construction of the teacher team in the western region is of great significance to the promotion of the highquality development of education in our country and the revitalization of the western region.Similar to the eastern region,in recent years, the number of non-normal new teachers in the western region has increased year by year.Increasing the induction training for these new teachers will benefit the overall improvement of the quality of the western teacher team.To this end, this article attempts to compare non-normal new teachers between the eastern and the western regions, based on the reality of the induction training for new teachers in the west, and draw lessons from related theories and the experience of the eastern regions,in order to put forward some useful suggestions for strengthening the induction training for non-normal new teachers in the western regions. On the basis of consulting the relevant literature and materials of new teacher induction training at home and abroad, the research selects the non-normal new teachers of high school in the eastern and western regions as the research object, and conducts research around the induction training of new teachers.Firstly, through questionnaires and interviews,we investigate the status quo of the induction training for non-normal new teachers in senior high schools in the eastern and western regions of our country.Secondly, from the five dimensions of training organization and management, training objectives, training content, training form, and training evaluation,it conducts a comparative analysis to further explore the problems and causes encountered by nonnormal new teachers in high schools in western regions in the induction training. Finally, learn from the excellent training experience of the eastern region, and provide support measures for the induction training of non-normal new teachers in the western region.Studies have shown that the main problems in the implementation process of the new teacher induction training for non-normal teachers in senior high schools in western regions are: poor top-level design at the macro level, insufficient implementation at the meso level, and weak teacher awareness at the micro level.Aiming at the backward economic and educational development level in the western region, insufficient support for induction training, and differences in the needs of new teachers, several countermeasures are proposed from the system design level, training support level, and individual teacher level, with a view to helping non-normal new teachers in the western region Onboarding training helps.
