As a scientific and lofty belief, Marxism is of great significance to currentuniversity students, enabling a logical outlook on life and its related values. It also hasgreat importance regarding the establishment of Chinese socialism with its owncharacteristics including the continued goal of modernization in China. With theimpact of political multi-polarization, economic globalization and cultural diversity,college students feel varying degrees of confusion in this conviction. How tostrengthen the education of Marxism and enhance its core values among students willbe an important subject, both in theory and practice, for future ideological andpolitical educators.Based on a survey of undergraduate students of different grades, and diversemajors at three universities in Jinzhou, both the position of student beliefs and theresulting influencing factors of Marxism were comprehensively analyzed in the paper.It proposed “four-in-one” education pathways which emphasized the fundamental roleof Chinese school education and included the ensuing education system of Marxisttheory. Furthermore, it combined the efforts of the society, family and the studentsthemselves, together with the specific aim of stimulating the need to foster a system ofsocialist belief. Finally, it enhanced Marxist consciousness, and helped students tocultivate and establish a precise Marxist belief.
