Since the reform and opening up, social and economic development in China had made tremendous achievements. The pace of industrialization and urbanization are accelerating quickly. Therefore,China’s rural society has undergone great changes. And mainly in the following aspects:substantial increase in the level of rural productivity; series of changes in rural modes of production and lifestyles; rural family and population structure had been changed; rural traditional culture and ideas are also occurred changes; well as kinds of other subtle changes. These changes have had a profound impact on to rural pension mode. This paper mainly focuses on the changes in the patterns of rural endowment.Through the study of literature and author’s personal experience of rural life, this paper reached a conclusion that the connotation of the rural traditional family pension mode has changed. And rural "raising children for old age" has become increasingly unrealistic.In the process of social transformation, traditional rural family pension mode had suffered a shock. What’s more, rural social old-age security system has not yet been established, the land pension protection function has been weaken, and deepening degree of aging in rural areas, and so on. All these show that China’s rural old-age mode is facing difficulties.This paper through specific analysis of the historical development of the rural old-age mode, as well as various aspects of rural social changes on rural pension mode, summed up that China’s current rural pension mode facing different challenges and proposed countermeasures. In order to solve rural pension problem fundamentally, it’s necessary to build the unity of the new rural social old-age security system actively and vigorously.Futhermore, make full integration of resources between countries, communities, social organizations, families and individuals. Only in this way can we achieve the harmony and stability of rural society, and finally realize the development achievement to benefit farmers more fair.
