Ecological crisis was triggered at present due to the fact that ecological balance was heavily destroyed in these years. It has become the biggest challenge for human development. Various methods have been employed by humans to solve this kind of problem, however, material level which based on science technology was not enough, what more important is the education of ecological morals on the mental level.Ecological moral brings relationship between human and nature into a new field of moral, which refers that humans should not only care about others as well as the society on the moral level, but also should live up to their moral responsibility and obligations to all things that exist in the nature. Humans shouldn’t damage and trend on the environment arbitrarily, which is the fundamental demand of ecological moral.Schools are organizations to cultivate students of all-round development. Among which, moral education is an important part of it, however, ecological moral education fails to arouse enough attention and development fundamentally in high schools. As a result of severe situation of ecological crisis, ecological moral education has become the intrinsic requirement of school educationas well as the objective requirement of contemporary societyinevitably. High school students are the new hope of futuredevelopment of our country. It has become a necessary choice toimprove their ecological moral literacy. Be in a special life stage,high school students have a strong ability to receive new things andgradually make for maturity of their ability to judge truth and error.Therefore, a new idea should be explored to guide them, strengthentheir ecological moral realization and cultivate correspondingbehaviors.From the perspective of ecological moral education, this paperinvestigates the current status of ecological morals in high schoolsby the means of questionnaire survey, document analysis andinterviewing. Horizontal analysis is further conducted from moralcognition, emotion, will and behaviors. At the same time, schoolsand families, two main factors that influence the formation ofecological moral level are also researched. Based on this, the authorputs forward corresponding scientific strategies.
