Music has always existed in children’ inner word.Children can express their own music with various forms. To put it in Bjork Wald, although the instinct Muse changes in varied of forms, it still vibrantly exists in the every corner of the the children’ life. Autonomy-support suggests that everyone should have autonomy, own selection, self expression and seeking progress. It is shown that once the autonomy is supported, the people can excite their intrinsic learning motivation and achieve higher efficiency. Therefore, the teachers’ autonomy-support behavior in the activities of singing teaching has an important role to stimulate children’ instinct and motivation of sing and to improve the singing ability.The study has observed singing teaching activities deeply by which the distribution of teachers’autonomy-support behaviors in the activities of teaching young children to sing is found out and analyzed. Then, the reason of the problem and influencing factors are analyzed. Finally, combined with the results and related theories, some recommendations is proposed.This paper mainly adopts observation and interview and it has four chapters totally:The first chapter is introduction. This part firstly clarifies the origin of the study, and then sort out relevant research at home and abroad. On this basis, the core concept is defined and the researching objects and methods are specified. Finally, the studying purpose and significance are demonstrated.In the second chapter, on the basis of sorting out and analyzing the collected data, this paper mainly describes the status of teachers’ autonomy-support behaviors in the activities of singing teaching from the six points of views. It mainly includes the types and distribution of teachers’autonomy-support behaviors, teachers’ autonomy-support behaviors of different grades, and so on.In the third chapter, combined with the present situation, this study analyzes the existed problems and factors which influence teachers’ autonomy-support behaviors.In the forth chapter, the paper proposes suggestions for teachers, kindergarten managers and parents about how to carry out children’ singing teaching activities more efficiently, respect young children’ needs and aspirations and produce a good effect on the long-term development of young children. It also proposes a hope that people who are closely related to preschool education should commonly pay attention to teachers’autonomy-support to young children and made them to be the citizens who can chose and think independently and have positive attitudes.
