Phenomenon Seen Tibetan Primary School Choice

Education is the guarantee for a civilized country and the basic education is the cornerstone of its educational development. In China, Rural area accounts for60%of the total area, so the rural education is more important for Chinese society. In recent years, with the fast development of rural area, more and more parents attach great importance to education. However, the current situation of compulsory education in rural area, which is of low-levered and resource-lacked, can’t satisfy their high demand of education resource. The phenomenon of school choice, especially, the countryside children poured into urban school, becomes worse for the unbalance compulsory education development between rural area and urban area. This thesis takes Suopo County in Sichuan province as an example. It studies and analyses the phenomenon of school choice, especially, the countryside children poured into urban school during their compulsory education period.This thesis uses the field work studying. It analyzes the school choice phenomenon which put into actual social situation. Through the study from practical to theory, this thesis recovers the influence of school choice on education in both rural and urban area. Then, it also try to explore the reasonable way to solve the problems which caused by school choice. At the same time, it brings up propose and suggestion to deal with this phenomenon.This thesis shows:Nowadays selecting a school in Compulsory Education is the social reproduce ion in the area of cultural reproduction. The school is a kind of special field in the process of reproduce ion cultural. It can legalize the capital of culture, status and power in social reproduction, all these things not only can help people realize the moving between classes, but also can bring the prospective benefit. In a word, selecting a school is the rehearsals riving for legalization benefit, this also explains why the anomie of social behavior is getting worse in real life.
