Research On The Cultivation Of Socialist Core Values Of Senior High School Students

Since the sixth plenary of sixteen session put forward the task of constructing thesystem of socialist core values, all walks of life have heatedly discussed the research onthe practice and cultivation of socialist core values. High school is the important periodof the development of individual values. Under the background of globalization,informatization and cultural diversity, the cultivation of socialist core values on seniorhigh school students is an important measure to consolidate the guiding position ofMarxism in the ideological. And also it is an important measure to prompt socialprogress and the all-round development of human beings.On the basis of literature study, the paper analyzes the connotation of socialist corevalues and the relationship between the socialist core values and the system of socialistcore values. And then the paper discusses the quality senior high school students shouldhave during the process of cultivating socialist core values, such as the common ideal ofsocialism with Chinese characteristics, the correct concept of the rights and obligations,the consciousness of democracy and rule of law and good individual moral quality.On the basis of the questionnaire survey and the talk with the students, the papersummarizes the values of senior high school students, and analyzes the insufficient inthe process of cultivating socialist core values of senior high school. Then the papersearches for the causes of problems from the psychological characteristics of senior highschool students, the current social environment and the education system. This partillustrates the necessity and the possibility of cultivation of the socialist core values onthe senior high school students.In view of the problems in the process of the cultivation of socialist core values insenior high school, the paper offers some operable suggestions such as improving the emphasis, strengthening the propaganda, extending approaches and paying attention to theassessment.
