Various disciplines have studied collective action long-term,since1960s,alongwith social conflict and ethnic group contradiction became a worldwide issue,studiesof collective action had been the hot spot in social psychology field.Development ofglobalization,rapid expansion of internet,advent of internet age bring tremendouschanges to our society.These backgrounds bring great challenge to the studies ofcollective action.We experience a new period of facing great social change and structurereconstruction,in order to cope with complicated social status quo,we need a series ofsocial theories to explain collective action and further come up efficient policies ofprecaution,instruction and intervene.China started late in the study of collective actionand mostly conducted studies of legal institution and public administration.But facingthe special history period,collective actions increase sharply.So we need to deep theexisting theories in Chinese perspective.This paper present domestic and overseas’ theories of collective action and thefactors of that.In the perspective of Social Identity Theory,I study the factors ofuniversity students’ collective actions via scenario simulation questionnairemethod.Moreover I analyze whether the four dimensions of group efficacy havedifferent impacts on collective and the differs between high group identity individualsand low group identity individuals.The results of study verify:1、University students’ intentions to collective action predict notably there collectactions;2、University students’ group identity and group efficacy influence one’s intenti-on to collective action;interaction affect exists between group identity and groupefficacy;3、University students’ group identity and group efficacy multiple-regression equal to intention to collective action;4、The four dimensions of group efficacy influence intention to universitystudents’ collective action;For high group identity individuals,the achieve of goal andthe extent of impact to decision makers have much more influence to intention tocollective action.The conclusion explain better the factors of collective action.Inaddition,providing suggestions to coping with collective actions of university studentsand inductions to university students’ collective actions.
