The occurrence of internet collective behavior is affected by the news framing effect, social identity, intergroup emotion and the group effectiveness. People have different understanding of news events under the influence of different types of news framework. Not only can social identity have a direct impact on collective behavior, but also intergroup emotion and the group effectiveness can have an indirect influence on it. On the basis of the news framing effect, it is of great significance to study the direct influence of social identity, and the mediating effect of the intergroup emotion and the group effectiveness on internet collective behavior.In this study, two experiments are adopted to inspect the influence of news framing effect on internet collective behavior, and the mediating effect of intergroup sympathy and the group effectiveness on news framing effect, social identity and internet collective behavior. The first experiment study the impact of social identity and news framing effect on internet collective behavior, intergroup sympathy and the group effectiveness; the second one concentrates on the effect of intergroup sympathy and the group effectiveness on internet collective behavior. From the two experiments above, it can be concluded that social identity and news framework have a direct influence on internet collective behavior, which can also be indirectly affected by intergroup sympathy. Social identity can affect internet collective behavior thorough group effectiveness, but news framework does not. Meanwhile, it is demonstrated that intergroup sympathy medium news framework, social identity and internet collective behavior. And group effectiveness only medium social identity and internet collective behavior.
