Research On College Students’ Network Language In The Dimension Of Values Education

Linguist Sapir once said, there is something behind language, and language is the reflection of thought and behavior. As a medium of communication in the virtual world, the network language, is popular among college students because of its uniqueness and college students’ physical and mental characteristics, from the network language, we can spy specific values of the college students, which is the core content of ideological and political education work. So it is how to make college students’ values education in the context of network language that is the focus of this paper. Based on the domestic and foreign related books, documents and papers as well as on-the-spot investigation, the basic situation of college students using the network language will be discussed detailedly in this article, In addition, we will talk about the theme of how to conduct values educations which is reflected on the network languages firmly.This paper will be divided into three parts:Chapter I:Through the analysis of the data in the questionnaire, this paper expounds the basic situation of college students using the network language, and sums up the char-acteristics of the network language. What is more, on this basis, we also analyze why the network language is popular among college students.Chapter II:First, we analyze the theory about language is a reflection of the values, a communication tool, and the reflection of thoughts and actions, which can also reflect the values. Second, we can excavate the specific values from the network language, and spec-ific the theme from students’ life values, political values, moral values, and marriage values and so on.Chapter III:In terms of how to carry out college students’ values education and how to guide the development of college students’ network language. This paper puts forward some specific measures:First, attach great importance to the ability to understand the network languages; Second, carry forward the socialist core values; Third, take the network language as the carrier to broaden college students’ values education; Fourth, standardize the network language, and optimize the context of the language of values education; Finally, urge educators to take advantages of network languages to explore the values of education.
